WELCOME

Welcome to the IMA of Tucson and Vicinity.  The IMA is a cutting edge ministry united and equipped to serve in the 21st Century while preparing God’s people for the end time harvest of souls.  We invite you to partner with us in ministry as we believe the IMA will prove to be a place for mutual sharing and support.  The Bible says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens his friend” (Proverbs 27:17).  Our goal is to Help Our Preachers Excel (HOPE) in every area of ministry.  We do this primarily by providing training and encouraging the ministers to share their resources.  Currently, we are working on finding a place where we can permanently store and make our resources available to all IMA members.

VISION

The vision of the IMA is to build a national and international network of likeminded ministers to empower our communities to exalt our Christ.

MISSION

The mission of the IMA is to unite and equip our ministers to serve effectively and efficiently in ministry in their local church and in the community at large.

FOCUS

We are organized to reach first and foremost the African-American clergy.  Secondly, we reach out and network with other individuals, organizations and groups that share our values and interests.  We call this the Jerusalem’s principle (Acts 1:8).  We concentrate our energy and efforts not to be exclusive but to be effective.

PURPOSES

The IMA is a purpose-driven organization.  We have four purposes.  We exist to:

    (1)    Share our Christ

    (2)    Serve the Clergy

    (3)    Strengthen the Churches

    (4)    Support the Community
